I think there are far more people with a few kinks then there are without. What is life without spice? If laying on your back in a straight missionary position get everyone off than that is all we would do. My belief is the brain is your largest sex organ.

Exhibitibi, I totally agree that there are more of us out there then what most think. The way that society has changed over the last years with everything being out there and open on the net, more are looking to find that next "interest" or "thrill". As a now divorce mom I know I've changed also.

When I go downtown to work, I would take the bus. I found a few sites that showed physical clues of submissive females. I would look for those physical actions...quite fun!

i always looked at the owner of my company as a dominant female both at the office (which is a 90% male workforce) and at home, Her husband works there as well and just has that sub look. Actually, one day as we were sitting outside having lunch, they were leaving the building and someone said: "guess it's time for him to back in the cage'
A few others made other comments along that vein as well. I held my tongue, knowing that I wasnt alone thinking the way I did.

Yep! I particularly like to try to guess who of the prominent people, big bosses etc might actually like to submit behind closed doors

Spot on. IN the 5-0's Master & Johnson did studies and cataloged a % of who engaged on occasion on something, outside the nor sexually. It was higher than what people woudl presume. But, it was under 10% of the populations. Studies in the 90's, after the internet, indicated a rise to about 16 to 18 % of the population did on occasion indulge in what was at the time considered kinky, outside the norms. , Back in the 50's anal sex, oral sex of any sort, analingus, bondage, BDSM, bi sexual sex, threesome or more some, swinging, etc were all outside the norms.

Now many of those activities are now considered pretty acceptable at least in the heterosexual community?

We have had books and movies, i.e 50 Shades of Blah Blah, moves atto that may depict kink or at least talk about it> New movies with Candice Bergin, Jane Fonda and others coming out that clearly indicated these mature women are craving something beside old missionary sex. This ain't your Grand Mother's or your Mother's idea of what is bizarre, not normal or such.

Estimates now range that around 20% and possibly more are getting involved with, what was once considered not normal. I would not be surprised if at least 30% once engaged in such things (which they may not engage on again) Certainly more fantasize about kink of some sort.

Despite the politics and religious dogma, more are engaging and finding it acceptable to engage in non traditional sexual activity.

I recall being in a University Sociology/Psychology class in the late 60's . Called Deviant Behavior. By the classification of that day, nearly all of the population is deviant in some fashion. Be it with sex, with drugs and alcohol. with financial interactions, political beliefs...........we all be FUBAR.

I once wrote a post called "Kink of No Kink". At the time I wrote it, as I often do, more as a literary exercise than a deep revelation of self. I even wrote the title in the original language. But some self was revealed. The turn of phrase was pleasing, the subtext valid and pleasant. But I find it to be far more true than I first realized.

This post is a simple example reinforcing that.

Thanks for writing.

People watching is great fun, but matching people to their individual kinks can be fun first thing on a wet and miserable Monday morning commute ...... makes the journey go by so much better !

I'm the same as anteater and i love playing the 'what's their kink' on the tube when i'm not distracted by naughty emails

I have no doubt i'm proably way off most of the time, but it's still fun.

I nipped back and read that. Beautifully written. I think I should offer the other approach; that of Voltaire: "I have no morals, yet I am a very moral person"

Thank you.

I once saw a couple, walking down the street and the man was clearly steering the woman, hand in neck, using that as a way to direct her...
I liked the look of that very much...

i myself, go in town regularly wearing my corset as a top, wearing my leather 'collar,' /dog leash....

As regular webcam broadcaster and visitor of the local gay sauna, I meet plenty of men looking for sex. In both situations there is direct sexual interaction, they have me naked on their screen for online sex or live for physical sex, no reason to hide anything. In most cases I ask if they have 'unusual' desires, very few ask openly if I am willing to please their kinky wishes.

In these circumstances there is no reason to hide any kinky desires and it is rather a small minority to enjoy kinky sex. The gay sauna attracts many married bi-curious men who have their first male sex experience with me, they may be up for more kinky but having a first time sex with a male is for them a great step. Online I have men, interested in a sex date after talking and watching my body online, once the chat deviates into talk about kinky sex they decline when they hear what I am prepared to accept as the idea what others did with my body turns them off.

Being different from the majority of people as homosexual my pleasure is in being used by others...
